Police have released video from a recent armed robbery at a Family Dollar store in Orlando, and are seeking the public's help in identifying a suspect.
According to the Orlando Police Department, the suspect, who was dressed in black and wearing a ski mask, entered the Family Dollar at 1340 W. Gore St. about 11 p.m. Saturday armed with a black, semi-automatic handgun. The robber ordered a clerk and a manager to open the safe, but they couldn't because it was on a time-delay. The thief escaped with about $100 in cash from the register, police said.
No one was injured in the robbery.
The suspect was described as about 5-foot-6, 160 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes, officials said. Anyone with information is asked to call Crimeline at 1-800-423-8477.Copyright © 2015, CT Now
