Downtown South, a City of Orlando Main Street program, announced its 2014 winners for the Best Business Awards.
Freshfields Farm, 400 E. Compton Street, won the Best Value award for the fourth year in a row.
Residents and customers in the area were surveyed about 120 businesses in the area, along Orange Avenue and Michigan Street.
Other winners were Old Florida National Bank, best customer service and best independent business; Chick-fil-A, best family atmosphere; and SoDo Shopping Center, most improved curb appeal.
Downtown South is one of seven Orlando Main Street programs, and part of the National Main Street program. The area includes Orange Avenue from Gore to Pineloch, and Michigan Street from Fern Creek to Division. The winners were announced at Downtown South’s sixth annual spring social at Orlando Brewery.
