How's this for a Christmas present?
The Black Keys -- set to release a new album, "Turn Blue" next week -- will be showcasing the new material in concert Dec. 17 at Amway Center.
The garage-blues rock duo out of Akron, Ohio, teamed with acclaimed producer Danger Mouse for the new album, with its title that band members Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney have said could refer to anything from sadness to suffocation.
Tickets for the Orlando show are $46.75 and $88.10. According to concert promoter Live Nation, a pre-sale for all dates on the tour will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 13, for fans pre-ordering the album at theblackkeys.com and for Citi cardmembers through Citi’s Private Pass Program (citiprivatepass.com).
General public on-sale is set for 10 a.m. Friday, May 16.
FYI, fans also can hear the new material when the Black Keys perform on Saturday Night Live on Saturday, May 10.
