Bar patron Robert Laur assists a couple visiting from nearby Wekiwa Springs State Park, during a leisurely afternoon at Wekiva Island, the newly-renovated expansion of the property on the <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="PLREC000088" title="Wekiva River" href="/topic/environmental-issues/natural-resources/wekiva-river-PLREC000088.topic">Wekiva River</a>, formerly known as Wekiva Marina, in Longwood. Wekiva Island had its grand opening on March 1st, with renovations including new canoes, kayaks, a volleyball court and an expanded bar, The Tooting Otter.
