A ghostly facade greets theme park guests to the famed Haunted Mansion attraction at Walt Disney World in Florida. Nov. 26, 2003, marks the U.S. release of Walt Disney Pictures' "The Haunted Mansion," a film based on the Magic Kingdom attraction. The film, starring Eddie Murphy, follows the success of Disney's recent "Pirates of the Caribbean" -- a blockbuster film also based on a Disney theme park attraction. The Haunted Mansion at Walt Disney World has been eliciting all-in-fun chills and shrieks since the Florida vacation resort opened its gates Oct. 1, 1971. The attraction is featured at all four of Disney's Magic Kingdom parks around the globe.
