The Orlando Sun Rays (formerly known as the Orlando Twins) played in the Southern League (Class AA) of minor league baseball from 1973 to 2003. During that span, they held affiliations with the Tampa Bay Devil Rays, the Seattle Mariners, the Chicago Cubs and the Minnesota Twins. The Sun Rays played at Tinker Field until 1999, when they changed names to the "Orlando Rays" and moved to Champion Stadium at Walt Disney World, the spring training home of the Atlanta Braves. The Sun Rays were Southern League Champions in 1991 and the Rays won the league title in 1999.
