(6) Ohio State Buckeyes

Record: 25-9

How they got here: At-large bid

Strengths: Tenacious point guard Aaron Craft brings a spark to the Ohio State squad, with a knack for hitting big shots. Along with leading the Buckeyes' offense, plays smothering defense, ended the regular season with a Big Ten record 328 career steals and earned Big Ten defensive player of the year honors. The team also gets a big boost from junior forward LaQuinton Ross, who averages 15.4 ppg. The school is making its sixth consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance and looks to match last season's run to the Elite Eight.

Weaknesses: Ohio State won its first 15 games, but the Buckeyes didn't play an especially tough nonconference schedule. The Buckeyes suffered a four-game losing streak for the first time since the 2007-08 season and dropped two games to a weaker Penn State squad, struggling to take care of the basketball and match the energy of other teams.
