2004 - 1st pick - Dwight Howard

The Magic's third-ever first pick, Howard spent eight seasons with Orlando before being traded to the Los Angeles Lakers. Howard made six All-Star appearances with the Magic, was named to the first team All-NBA team five times and was the defensive player of the year three times. Howard will be remembered however for how he left Orlando, deciding to waive his opt-out clause but then practically forcing the Magic to trade him in the 2012 off-season.
