Invasive species threaten Florida

A large monitor lizard was on the loose in Ilene Gothelf's neighborhood in the Lost Lake subdivision off of Winter Park Drive in Casselberry in 2007. She took the photo from a window in her home. The lizards are among the reptiles that Florida wildlife officials deemed a concern for the state's ecosystem.
