Todd Geist, second from left, his daughter Téa, 8, and Heather Clayton, right, hand out socks to the homeless during the Orlando Union Rescue Mission Easter Banquet on Friday, April 6, 2007. Around 120 volunteers helped to hand out hygiene products and prepare and serve Good Friday meals in Orlando. The meal, which took five days to prepare, was made with 350 lbs. of potatoes, 140 lbs. of coleslaw, 10 cases of corn and 10 cases of beans, 400 lbs. of ice and 25-13 lb. hams. "It is to show our love and compassion for them and let them know someone does care," OUR Mission executive director Don Moody says of the meal, "We hope that they'll come back and get into one of our programs."
