Mojito Cubano

<b>Bahama Breeze</b><br>

A half of fresh lime, cut into three wedges<br>
<br>
4-6 large leaves of fresh Mint<br>
<br>
1/4 cup fresh squeezed sugar cane juice or Simple Syrup*<br>
<br>
1/4 cup light or dark rum<br>
<br>
1 1/2 cups crushed ice<br>
<br>
Splash soda water<br>
<br>
*To make Simple Syrup: combine one cup of granulated sugar and two and a half cups of water in a sauce pan and bring to a boil over medium-low heat. Simmer one minute and remove from heat. Transfer to a heat-proof container and refrigerate until cold. Makes about three cups or 12 servings for the above recipe.
