MortinisWhere: Morton’s The Steakhouse, 30 State House Square, Hartford Cost: $10 - $15
The martinis at Morton’s really aren’t that different from those you can get at any bar in the area. So why pay $10 for some vodka in a fancy glass?
It’s all about the filet mignon sandwiches, people.
On Tuesday and Thursday, Morton's serves free tender, juicy mini-steak sandwiches in the bar from 5 to 7 p.m. That’s right, they’re FREE! Grab as many as you can, ‘cause they go quickly. Wash down your sandwiches with a 'Mortini.' Shown here are the Cosmopolitan and Apple mortinis.
Appropriate to the restaurant’s boardroom atmosphere, Morton’s is packed with corporate types (a.k.a. men in suits), so dress in your best “business attire or smart-casual wear.”
