Espresso Martini
Where: Hot Tomato's at Union Place, Hartford
Ingredients:: Espresso, Smirnoff Vodka and a secret concoction of five liqueurs

Hot Tomato's espresso martini may be the only martini in town with more than 10 ounces of liquor in it. This cocktail tastes like a Frappuccino from Starbucks spiked with alcohol. It is the most popular martini served at Hot Tomato's, a downtown Hartford eatery and bar.
A light layer of foam rests on top of the dark coffee-colored martini. Some of the drink inevitably spills since the straw can't sink down past the froth. Gently referred to by regular patrons as a B.O.A.S. (Bend Over And Suck) cocktail, the espresso martini is served chilled.
Three sips and I felt myself beginning to sway on the barstool.
