More than 700 patients were seen at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway during Sunday's race.

More than 700 patients were seen at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway during Sunday's race.

Sunday marked the second hottest Indy 500 race in history and the majority of the patients suffered from heat-releated injuries.

A total of 762 patients were seen. Twenty-three were transported to area hospitals.

The official temperature for the Indy 500 was 91 degrees. The track temperature reached 133 degress at lap 140.
