Flood warnings are in place for parts of our area.
For example, the Tippecanoe River and what it may do to Pulaski County is a major concern.
And there is also flooding in Goshen. A majority of Rogers Park near the Elkhart River was underwater over the weekend. The river overflowed and flooded the park pavilion, the skate board park, the ball field and the playground.
“And the wind started blowing really hard towards where we are at, and it kind of started flowing right through,” said Tabitha Henderson, who works near Rogers Park. “And with this already being flooded, it just sort of collided together and then completely flooded the road.
Water is now receding at the park, but it could be a couple days before it’s all gone.
And the photo above shows what parts of southwest Michigan looked like over the weekend. It was sent to us by Jessica Lang. She took a kayak out to the ball fields of Hayes Park in Watervliet.
You can see the water is halfway to the score-board.
