Sources tell WSBT News that County Commissioner Terry Rodino faces criminal allegations from an incident that happened October 29 in Elkhart.
City police turned over their investigation to the prosecutor last week. The Elkhart County prosecutor released a statement saying a request has been filed for a special prosecutor to look into the allegations.
Now the Allen County Prosecutor will decide if they will handle the case.
No word on when that decision will be made.
