LaGrange County police are on the lookout for a man who ran away from the scene of an accident where police found meth lab materials.

Police say Jason Adkins was already wanted on separate charges at the time of the crash. Officers tried to pull him over late last night as he was speeding through the county.

Adkins ran a red light and crashed the car into multiple trees and fence posts at 1635 E 400 N. When police pulled up, he ran away.

Officers arrested two of his passengers – 20-year-old Brianne Benak and 27-year-old Jeremy Brock.

The car was stocked with several items used to manufacture meth.

Benak and Brock are both in jail this morning on various drug related charges.
