Notre Dame football fans, get your rest.

Many of you will be getting up early Saturday for the season opener.

The Emerald Isle Classic against Navy kicks off just after 9 a.m. our time because the game is in Dublin, Ireland.

The Tilted Kilt in Granger is one of several restaurants and bars opening at 7 a.m.

All 32 TVs will be tuned into the Notre Dame game.

The same thing goes at O'Rourkes on Eddy Street across from Notre Dame.

Both restaurants say they are excited for the big game, but since it is so early, they don't quite know what to expect.

“I expect a fairly large crowd,” said Tilted Kilt General Manager Steve White. “I have talked to a lot of people that come in here and ask what we are doing.

“I’m expecting a good turnout for this,” O’Rourke’s Manager Andrew Pankowski said. “This is a really exciting game. I can’t remember any other time they went to Ireland to play. It should have a great turnout for us.”

Call your favorite hangout today to find out if they'll be open and when.

And if you are watching the game, make sure you tune into WSBT before and during the matchup.

Pete Byrne will be on the air starting at 8 to get you ready for the big game with our Irish Emerald Special!
