CHICAGO (AP) — More than 370 flights have been canceled at Chicago's airports as a fast-moving snowstorm whips across the area.

The Chicago Department of Aviation says more than 300 flights in and out of O'Hare International Airport have been canceled today.

Southwest Airlines has canceled all 70 of its flights at Midway Airport. That's about 15 percent of all flights at Midway today.

The National Weather Service says up to 8 inches of snow could fall by evening. Forecasters say snow could fall at a rate of an inch or more per hour during the storm.
