The Harrisburg Chapter of the NAACP has received a formal written complaint from a white male regarding "discrimination in hiring practices" being conducted at PA Central Federal Credit Union, which has their home offices at 959 East Park Drive in Harrisburg.
The complaint that was filed states that the president, vice president and the operations manager at PA Central Federal Credit Union purposely targets and refuses to hire Blacks, Spanish, Gays, or even male tellers for fear that they may be gay. The complaint goes on to say that the person filing(who is also a member of the credit union) has personally seen and heard the credit union president, vice president, and operations manager agree to use these discrimination practices when hiring.
Fox 43 did receive a response from Pa Central Federal Credit Union President/CEO Greg Wagner.
"we have no discriminatory policies in this organization. PA Central Federal Credit Union does not discriminate on the basis of race, creed, gender, national origin, sexual orientation, or any other protected class. PA Central Federal Credit Union has not been shown the complaint, but we are actively seeking a copy in order to respond."
