Six Companies Recall More Than Four Million Blinds
Two deaths were attributed to products from Lewis Hyman. The company recalled 4.2 million roll-up blinds, which were sold around the country from 1999 through 2003. The company is also recalling 600,000 Woolrich Roman shades, which were sold at Target from 2006 through 2008.

Check the blind for release clips. If the roll-up blind does not have release clips, consumers should stop using it immediately and contact Lewis Hyman for a free repair kit. About 245,000 Lutron Shading Solutions roller shades were recalled. The shades were sold at specialty dealers and Expo Design Centers around the country from 2000 through April.
