Pennsylvania Task Force One Returns After Providing Relief From Hurricane Irene
Pennsylvania Task Force One returned from a national deployment Wednesday evening, after providing relief from Hurricane Irene.

The team was in the New York area near Albany, helping with the devastation.

It was a shorter trip than expected. The 80 task force members left on Saturday morning.

They say the damage was bad, similar to Hurricane Katrina, only not as widespread.

Task Force One member Mike Kurtz says the team completed searches and made sure everyone in the area was okay.

"This flooded towns that have never actually seen a flood in the past, so just imagine going down 2nd Street in the city of Harrisburg and seeing that completely wiped out," said Kurtz.

They say the clean up process will take awhile.
