Fatal Accident along I-283 (June 6, 2012)

UPDATE: Pennsylvania State Police say a 67 year old Camp Hill man was killed in the fatal crash on I-283, in the area of Lindle Road at mile marker 1.9 in Swatara Township. PSP is withholding the identity of the victim who was driving a 2011 Cadillac CTS. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. An unidentified passenger in the car, also from Camp Hill, was injured and is in Hershey Medical Center. His condition is unknown. State Police say neither the driver or the passenger were wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. The driver of tractor trailer was 56 year old Ronald Johnson, Leeper, in Clarion County. Johnson was not injured.

PREVIOUS: I-283 Northbound is shut down for a fatal accident invovling a tractor-trailer and a Cadillac. Apparently, the southbound Cadillac crossed the median into the Northbound truck's path. One person is dead and another has been flown via Life Lion.
