LOWER PAXTON TOWNSHIP, Dauphin County—Dauphin County District Attorney Ed Marsico and the Dauphin County Drug Task Force filed charges for the sale of illegal prescription drugs. Arnold Robert Mendelsohn, 71 of Lower Paxton Township, was charged after the drug task force completed an investigation into ongoing illegal sale and abuse of prescription drugs.
Mendelsohn delivered several prescription narcotics, including oxycontin, oxycodone, lorazepam, ativan, and other drugs. After executing a search warrant at Mendelsohn's home, the Dauphin County Drug Task Force seized approximately 1,000 pills.
Marsico said, "The trafficking and abuse of prescription drugs is a growing problem in Dauphin County, and we will aggressively prosecute prescription drug dealers."
Mendelsohn was arraigned and sent to Dauphin County Prison on $125,000 bail.
