Man Burglarizes Church, Leaves Birth Certificate
Police arrest church burglar in New Jersey after he leaves a trail of evidence. On May 11th, 2010 the First St. John's Church at 140 West King Street was burglarized by an unknown suspect. During the investigation the York City Police discovered that the suspect left a trail of several items in the church, including his birth certificate.

Officers issued warrant for the arrest of the suspect, Allen Larry Dawes, on May 14th, 2010. His last known address was in Gaithersburg, Maryland.

On June 8th, 2010 Allen Larry Dawes was arrested in New Jersey by the Atlantic County Sheriff's office. Dawes has been transported back to York County Prison, where he is currently being held.
