Two murder suspects have been captured in New York by U.S.Marshals Service's Fugitive Task Force.

Late Tuesday afternoon, U.S.Marshals arrested 24 year old Jose Castro in an apartment building in the Bronx. Castro was found hiding in a closet. Castro was wanted by York City police in the shooting death of Pedro Solis-Baez of York. The 29 year old Solis-Baez was gunned down on July 31 at around 12:30 in the afternoon along the 300 block of Susquehanna Avenue. Castro is charged with criminal homicide, a fugitive from justice and other related charges.

During the early morning hours on Tuesday, U.S. Marshals located 29 year old Ronald Burton at a house on 128th street in the Richmond Hill section of Queens, New York. Burton was wanted by Harrisburg Police in connection with the shooting death of Brandon Granthon. Granthon was found with a gunshot wound to his chest along the 1100 block of Mulberry Street on May 5th. Burton is charged with criminal homicide, criminal conspiracy, possession of a firearm and other related charges. He is also wanted on a parole violation by the Pennsylvania Board of Probation and Parole.

Both men are being held in New York pending extradition hearings for their return to York and Harrisburg.
