Two Teens Struck While Walking To School
Two Brooklyn teenagers suffered serious injuries after police say they were both struck while walking to school Thursday morning.

The victims, both aged 17, were headed to Lincoln High School in Coney Island when they were struck by a green Ford Explorer at the intersection of Ocean Parkway and West Avenue around 9 a.m.

According to police, the SUV's 54-year-old driver stopped at the scene and waited for police to arrive.

The two victims, a male and a female, were transported to a nearby hospital. The female's condition is said to be extremely critical, while the male's was deemed less serious.

The driver was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license. The identities of all those involved were not immediately released.
