Sole Survivor Of The Taconic State Parkway Crash Home From Hospital
The 5-year-old sole survivor of the deadly Taconic State Parkway crash is back home after spending two months in the hospital.

Bryan Schuler is recovering at his Long Island home in West Babylon after surviving the highway crash caused by his mother Diane. The crash killed eight people.

Thomas Ruskin, a private investigator who represents the family, says Schuler still has very severe head injuries.

"He is going through medical as well as physical therapy treatments and dealing with the medical issues that were caused by this very severe crash and his very severe head trauma and injuries," said Ruskin.

Diane Schuler drove the wrong way on the parkway on July 26. She died, along with Bryan's sister, three cousins and three Yonkers men in the car she hit.

Toxicology reports say that she was drunk and high on marijuana. Schuler's family dispute those claims, but they have not conducted its own tests.

Bryan's father, Daniel, is taking care of his son.
