Suspect In Fatal AC Carjacking Arrested

One of the suspects involved in a fatal carjacking at a casino parking lot in Atlantic City has been arrested, authorities announced Wednesday.

According to the Atlantic County officials, cops arrested 20-year-old Phillip Byrd at his Camden home Tuesday night.

Police say Byrd along with pals Eric Darden and Raheem Simmons targeted 28-year-old Sunil Rattu and 24-year-old Radha Ghetia while the pair were inside the garage of the Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort early Sunday morning.

Rattu and Ghetia were shot during a confrontation with the trio. Rattu died from two gunshot wounds in the head while Ghetia, who was shot once, is still recovering.

Police are still searching for Darden and Raheem.
