A man was arrested Sunday afternoon on sex abuse charges after he inappropriately touched a woman who was seeking shelter at a hurricane relief center on Long Island.

Police say 25-year-old Anthony Henry of Roosevelt was volunteering to assist the Red Cross at a relief center located at Nassau Community College when he inappropriately touched a 47-year-old woman, who had come to the college to seek shelter from Hurricane Irene.

The woman immediately reported the incident to security, who then called police.

Henry is charged with two counts of third-degree sexual abuse and is expected to be arraigned Monday at First District Count in Hempstead.

Nassau Community College is located at 1 Education Drive in East Garden City.
