Shuttle Buses

There will be shuttle buses between the following locations:

Atlantic Ave.-Barclays Center and 57th St. via the Manhattan Bridge.

Jay Street-Metro Tech and 57th Street-Lexington Ave. via the Manhattan Bridge.

Hewes Street and 57th Street-Lexington Ave. via the Williamsburg Bridge.

Shuttle buses will run north on 3rd Ave. and south on Lexington Ave.


Staten Island Ferry is still suspended, the terminal is currently swamped.

Private ferry service has resumed between New Jersey and New York.


All New York City schools are closed through the end of the week. Teachers are expected in on Friday.

All CUNY colleges are closed and all classes are cancelled through Thursday. Classes resume on Friday.

City parks, playgrounds, and beaches are closed until further notice due to hazardous conditions

All HHC (public hospital) outpatient clinic appointments and elective surgeries are cancelled Wednesday, 10/31.

The Annual Greenwich Village Halloween Parade in Manhattan that was scheduled for Wednesday has been postponed until sometime next week.

The New York marathon is scheduled to happen as planned on Sunday.

On Wednesday, scheduled garbage and recycling collections will be suspended so that the City can start its citywide hurricane cleanup operation

Jersey City trash collection will resume in Jersey City Wednesday night, according to Mayor Jerramiah T. Healy.
