The Hamptons are known for its spectacular ocean front mansions, meticulously manicured hedge lined properties, fancy main street boutiques, fine dining and trendy night spots.

It has been called the playground of the "rich and famous" and it's also becoming known for the "stuck up and obnoxious".

"It's rude on the road, rude in the restaurants," Lauren Betancourt, who works at a popular restaurant, told PIX 11 News.

You can visit rudehamptons.com whenever you want. It's a website that allows people to sound off on their personal horror stories with the stuck up and famous.

"I think that it could be very therapeutic -- especially for those of us who live here year round," said one Westhampton resident.

The website started 4 years ago and is a venting outlet from Manorville to Montauk.

When it comes to the Hamptons, rudehamptons.com is quickly becoming the hippest and the trendiest, with more people visiting the site and sounding off than ever before.

If you're a fan of Gossip Girl, rudehamptons.com can be described as the behind the scenes look at what it's like for people on the other side, dealing with those who feel entitled, in a vulgar never ending episode of crudeness.

"It's kind of like everyday is a fashion show," said Betancourt.

"All this gossip stuff is what's really out there," another resident said. "Like when you go places {you're likely to hear} 'Oh do you see what she's wearing? Do you believe that outfit?'"
