Massive Brush Fire Breaks Out In Meadowlands
A massive brush fire broke out along the New Jersey Turnpike Wednesday, in a marsh near the Meadowlands.

Officials say the 2-alarm fire is just one of many brush fires that have broken out throughout the area. No injuries or damages to property were immediately reported.

Plumes of smoke can be seen from several miles away along the turnpike. It wasn't immediately clear if the fire will effect the evening commute. As of 3 p.m. no street closures were announced.

While firefighters had their hands full in East Rutherford, others were busy in Carlstadt where another brush fire broke out. No injuries were reported.
