According to authorities, the incident occurred just five days into Lohan’s 35 day house arrest ordered after she allegedly took a diamond necklace from a Venice store without paying for it.
Lohan, who is currently living in a rented townhouse in Venice Beach worth $2.25 million, later pleaded no contest in the case.
"Lindsay's electronic monitoring system went off on Monday. When a representative from the monitoring company went to her home, the representative found Lindsay there," Lawyer Shawn Holley said in a statement.
In addition to the 4-month house arrest, she also has to perform 480 hours of community service as well, part of which will take place at the Los Angeles County morgue.
