Long Island School Evacuated After Bomb Threat
Police are investigating after a bomb threat at a Long Island middle school prompted a mass evacuation Thursday morning.

According to authorities, students and staff from East Northport Middle School were evacuated some time before 12 p.m. after the apparent threat was discovered in a boys bathroom.

The details of the threat weren't immediately known.

An email and recorded telephone messages were sent to parents, notifying them students and staff were evacuated and transported to nearby Trinity Regional School, officials said.

Upon a search through the school, the Suffolk County Bomb Squad found no evidence of a bomb. Police are still investigating the incident.
