Honking Horn At Cop Results In Drug Arrest
A man who mockingly honked a horn at a police officer ended up with a drug charge and arrest Wednesday morning.

According to police, Michael Rost, 30, of Mansfield Township was driving in vehicle when honked his horn twice at a Hackettstown police officer who was in the middle of investigating a civil matter.

The officer, who grew annoyed, pulled Rost over and asked to see his credentials.

As Rost opened his glove compartment, he revealed a steel pipe and a plastic baggie containing a green leafy substance. Rost was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a toxic chemical (K-2 spice) and in addition, driving with a suspended license.

Rost was released pending a court appearance.
