A Long Island man was shot to death during an early morning home invasion on Monday, Suffolk County police said.

Steven Privitera, 53, a truck driver, was reportedly shot in the abdomen inside his Bohemia residence. Two masked men reportedly forced their way into the home, located on Sycamore Avenue around 12:38 a.m. and demanded money.

The suspects then fired their weapons and struck the victim. Privitera was rushed to Southside Hospital in Bayshore where he was pronounced dead.

Police are looking for two black males who fled the scene in a dark-colored Ford Explorer.
