A Long Island teen accused of killing an Ecuadorean immigrant in November 2008 was found guilty of manslaughter as a hate crime Monday, PIX News has learned.
The jury convicted 19-year-old Jeffrey Conroy after deliberating for four days.
According to prosecutors, Conroy was one of seven teens who set out "to find a Hispanic person to randomly and physically attack" on the night of November 8, 2008.
