Funeral services for the two sisters killed in a car crash on the Meadowbrook Parkway was held Monday morning on Long Island.

Around 300 mourners were in attendance as Jamie Malone, 22, and Paige Malone, 19, were remembered at a joint funeral service at Our Lady of Victory Roman Catholic Church in Floral Park.

Over 50 staff members from Camp Anchor - where the young women worked - wore their camp attire to pay homage to the two sisters who lost their lives in a tragic one-car crash last week.

The women, along with 22-year-old Michael Mulhall, were killed Thursday morning when their vehicle veered off the Meadowbrook Parkway and crashed into a tree. The two survivors of the crash -- 20-year-olds Justine Mulhall and Kelly Murphy -- were transported to Nassau University Medical Center for minor injuries.

At the time of the crash, the group were traveling to Camp Anchor in Lido Beach, where they worked as camp counselors for the town-run summer camp that services nearly 600 campers with special needs that range from autism to down syndrome.

Investigators are still trying to determine what caused the crash.
