For the second time in 9 days, a vehicle careened off an exit ramp on the Queensboro Bridge, leaving a woman in critical condition, police said.

According to police, a 2006 Volkswagen Jetta veered out of control off the Crescent Street and Queens Plaza South in Long Island City some time after 4 a.m. Wednesday, flying into a Queens store.

The driver, a male and his passenger, described as a female, were taken to Bellevue Hospital. The man is said to be in stable condition while the woman is said to be fighting for her life with severe head trauma.

On March 28, another vehicle that was exiting the exact same ramp, careened off the roadway and crashed into the same store.

The accident killed 68-year-old Anthony Buscemi who police say was standing on the sidewalk at the time of the crash.

Construction on the ramp was reportedly completed in 2007. Police are still investigating the cause of Wednesday's crash. A source told the New York Post that it appears speed was a factor in both incidents.
