Bizarre Motives Suspected In Brooklyn Shop Store Murders
Police spent the weekend warning shop owners in several Brooklyn neighborhoods that there is a killer on the loose.

Officers also believe he may be targeting stores with addresses that include the numbers 1,7 and 8.

Police have released a sketch showing a 5'9 Hispanic man in his 20's with sunglasses. Detectives say he is likely the same killer in Thursday's shooting and the killing from last month of another store owner just a mile away. The same type of bullets were found in both locations.

Now, wanted posters are up in Bensonhurst, Bay Ridge, Sunset Park and Borough Park asking shop owners to be careful around closing time, and offering a $12,000 reward to people for information about the killer.

Detectives think the killer could be motivated by ethnic hatred.
