Arrest Made In Case of Dismembered Bodies Found In NJ
A Union City man was in police custody Friday in connection with the murders of a man and a woman whose dismembered bodies were found in trash bags on a New Jersey sidewalk.

An investigation into the April killings led detectives to the home of 36-year-old Ruben Acosta.

According to the police, Acosta fits the description of the man seen driving the vehicle in which the bodies were removed and dumped on a sidewalk in Linden on April 5.

Upon his arrest, police say they found a gun, a fake police badge, handcuffs and $6000 in Acosta's possession.

Homicide charges are pending as the investigation into the murders continues, officials said.
