How easy is it to track how your local government is spending its money? That's the focus of a new survey from the Virginia Coalition for Open Government.
The group found out how many clicks it takes to find your city or county's budget information online.
Bedford and Franklin Counties made the top of the list, with "A" grades. Danville, Salem, Roanoke City and County all earned "B" grades for accessibility. In the C's were Lynchburg, Radford, and Botetourt County.
A few areas, Alleghany and Giles Counties as well as Covington earned failing grades for not giving any budget access to its citizens online.
