Two people from Troutdale have been charged with buying materials to make methamphetamine.
Herbert Dean Martin, 45, and Patricia Sue Gravely, 35, of Rockbridge Road are facing several charges after investigators executed a search warrant.
Both are being held at the New River Valley Regional Jail without bond.
Investigators seized precursors to make meth, several firearms and a Chevy Trailblazer.

On February 17, 2012 members of the Twin County Drug Task Force, Grayson County Sheriff’s Office, and the Virginia State Police executed a search warrant at the residence of Herbert Dean Martin and Patricia Sue Gravely of 3325 Rockbridge Road Troutdale. The Virginia State Police received information that Martin and Gravely were purchasing precursors to manufacture methamphetamine in Marion, Galax, and Wytheville.
The search warrant revealed numerous precursors used to manufacture methamphetamine. Several firearms and a Chevrolet Trail Blazer were seized. Both Herbert Dean Martin, 45, and Patricia Sue Gravely, 35, of 3325 Rockbridge Road Troutdale were charged with the following:
· Possession of Firearm by a convicted felon
· Possession of firearm while in possession of a schedule II drug
· Manufacture schedule II
· Possession of schedule II
· Conspiracy to manufacture schedule II
· Possession of two or more precursors to make methamphetamine.
Both are being held in the NRVRJ without bond.
