The Virginia Department of Transportation is still asking drivers to remain cautious this afternoon.
VDOT is reporting icy patches on roads in Floyd, Giles, Montgomery and Pulaski counties.
In Carroll County, there is a travel advisory in effect from mile marker 1 to mile marker 24 on Interstate 77 because of high winds.

LYNCHBURG —Motorists should continue to use caution when driving in portions of the Salem District of the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) today as some roads remain icy, snow-covered or buffeted by high winds.
In Carroll County, high winds have resulted in a travel advisory on I-77 from mile marker 1.0 to mile marker 24.1.
Icy patches are being reported on primary roads in Floyd, Giles, Montgomery and Pulaski counties. Snow/ice is reported on secondary roads in Floyd and Montgomery counties.

According to the Virginia Department of Transportation, there are still snow and ice patches on Interstates 81 and 77.
Many primary and secondary roads in Wise and Tazewell counties are covered in snow.
UPDATE 5:45 a.m. Tuesday
The Virginia Department of Transportation is asking drivers to use caution this morning.
Icy patches are being reported on roads in the counties of Giles, Montgomery, Patrick and Pulaski.
There are snow and ice covered roads in Floyd County.
Also in Floyd County, part of Route 221 -- between Route 642 and Route 610 -- is closed.
An accident in that area downed power lines.
Further south, many primary and secondary roads in the counties of Lee, Tazewell, Bland, Grayson and Wythe are snow-covered.
According to VDOT, most primary routes in Smyth, Buchanan and Wise counties have snow and ice patches on them, while secondary routes are snow-covered.
VDOT is also reporting icy patches on Interstates 81 and 77.
