An additional round of blasting has been scheduled for Tuesday on Interstate 77 in Carroll County.
The first blast on Tuesday will start at 11 a.m., with rolling road blocks in the northbound and southbound lanes starting at 10 a.m. The first blast was not previously scheduled by the Virginia Department of Transportation.
The second blast, which was already scheduled, will take place at 1 p.m. Tuesday with the rolling road blocks starting at 12:30 p.m.

VDOT crews are removing rocks along a slope between mile markers 2 and 4.
Starting Thursday, July 12, blasting will take place on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Blasting on those days will start at 1 p.m.
Rolling road blocks will be put in place starting at 12:30 p.m. in the northbound and southbound lanes of I-77 between mile markers 2 and 4 on the days blasting will take place.
Traffic is expected to be impacted until 3 p.m. each day.
One of the three lanes on Interstate 77 in that area is already closed.
Work on this project is expected to be completed by September 2012.
