Country Music Hall of Fame member Merle Haggard is coming to the Salem Civic Center this fall.
This will be Haggard’s first appearance at the Salem Civic Center in a decade.
The show is set for Sunday, October 27 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets go on sale Monday, May 6 at 10 a.m.
Now 76-years-old, Haggard is a California native with 39 Number One Country hits to his credit. He last appeared at the Salem Civic Center in May of 2003.
According to a news release, Haggard has since battled lung cancer and received one of the Kennedy Center’s prestigious Lifetime Achievement awards for his outstanding contribution to American culture.
Haggard has been singing, writing, playing and producing music for more than 50 years.
