ROANOKE, Va.—
Around 22,000 people watched Roanoke's St. Patrick's Day Parade on Saturday and saw some impressive floats.
The winners were announced Monday.
Virginia Highlands Pipe and Drums won best overall float.
The Patrick Henry High School Air Force ROTC Unit won the most patriotic theme.
Best Irish theme went to Tuff Gumby.
Old Southwest Incorporated took top honors of best neighborhood float.
It was a tie for the best non-profit float. Angels of Assisi and Caporales Ruphay are splitting the honor.
The Western Virginia Water Authority got best business.
