CARROLL COUNTY, Va.—The Carroll County Sheriff's Office has arrested a man and charged him with having almost 200 Oxycontin pills.
Phillip Sias, 21, of Claudeville has been charged with possession of schedule II drugs with intent to distribute.
When an officer approached the vehicle, the officer noticed a smoking device in the car.
After a searching the vehicle and Silas, deputies say they found 195 Oxycontin pills and a small bag of marijuana.
The driver of the vehicle, Joseph Walton, 23, has been charged with simple possession of marijuana.

Sheriff John B. Gardner advises that on February 9, 2012, Deputy Sheriff Haga was sitting at St. Paul Elementary School while on patrol in the Cana area of Carroll County. Deputy Haga pulled out of the school parking lot behind a vehicle which immediately activated a turn signal, even though there was no drive way or road anywhere in the area. The vehicle made a turn onto the next available road, crossing over into the other lane of travel at which time the deputy initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle. The driver of the vehicle could not produce a drivers license and was acting extremely nervous. While talking to the driver, the deputy noticed a smoking device in the middle console and asked the driver and a passenger in the vehicle to exit. During questioning, the driver pulled a small baggie of marijuana out of his coat pocket and an unlabeled RX bottle was found on the passenger.
The vehicle passenger, Phillip Christopher Sias, age 21, of Claudeville, Virginia was arrested and charged with Possession of Schedule II Drugs with Intent to Distribute and 195 Oxycontin pills were seized. Sias was taken to New River Valley Jail on a $5,000 secure bond.
The driver of the vehicle, Joseph Ray Walton, age 23, of Stuart, Virginia was charged with simple Possession of Marijuana and released.
