Man arrested after driving through Lynchburg building

Alcohol may have caused a driver to plow through a building in Lynchburg.

The accident happened around 9:00 Sunday night on James Street.

Police say Corey Hall was pulling off the Lynchburg Expressway.  Instead of stopping at the bottom of an exit ramp, he kept going and drove through the side of an abandoned warehouse.

Hall wasn't injured, but the crash did leave a hole in the building.

Police say Hall was drinking.  He was arrested and charged with driving under the influence.
